The place is cozy and warm. The owner is exceptionally nice and welcoming. She helped us to decide where to go and we talked a lot with her, she is very friendly. We liked the equipped shared kitchen. And the location is also great!

Room was spacious. View from terrace of the lake was superb! Restaurant meals were tasty and affordable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal with the Schluch See village nearby as well as many other scenic villages of the Hoch Schwartzwald. The nearby RotHaus Brewery was fascinating!

We stayed at the hotel for 7 days during August, with 4 rooms (Superior Double Room with Lake View and Balcony) for our extended family. The visit was simply amazing. The location, the views, the private dock to the lake, the outdoor and indoor pools, the breakfast, and the hotel restaurant — everything went beyond our expectations.
