We didn’t try the breakfast, as we were in a self-catering cabin. The location is fantastic! It is off the beaten track, right on the lake, surrounded by hiking trails, peaceful and geared for an active vacation. The staff is very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again for a longer period of time.

We received a lovely welcome on arrival. Nice room with everything supplied for a comfortable, relaxing, overnight stay. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of breads, cheese, jams etc We would definitely stay here again

I liked the calm and chilling atmosphere of the place, the hammocks in the garden, and how clean and well-maintained the place is. I wished to stay longer there.

Everything was fantastic, above expectations. The structure is furnished with attention and is perfectly integrated into the environment. It has everything you need, including a comfortable dishwasher. Immersed in the forest, a few minutes from the city. Owner of a unique kindness. I recommend trying the breakfast, you will receive every delicacy: from fruit, to croissants, to pancakes.

Let's keep it our secret: This is an amazing hidden gem in Risskov (Aarhus). Wonderful location right next to the forest. Close to the nearby beach and easy access to the city of Aarhus (Denmark's second largest city). I can highly recommend to visit ARoS, the contemporary art museum whose rainbow-coloured roof installation can be seen from all over town. Your hosts live in the same house as the apartment and they did the utmost to make out stay pleasant. I can highly recommend to stay here!
