The rooms are located in a simple and charming family house (guest rooms are just upstairs with a different entrance for more privacy). It is simple and has everything one need to spend a good stay. It is also ideally located in Fort Cochin next to the Kathakali Center (great shows to see there) and in a quite alley. What made me give a 10 out of 10 mark is the warm welcome and the kindness of the hosts. It was exceptional and made me feel very well and welcome. They care about their guests and that will make me remember my lovely stay for good !

The host, Roy is very kind and has so many lovely stories to tell. He helps with anything there is to do in the environment. We went to the fish market and he bargained a good price for fresh prawns and he took us to a local fish restaurant to cook it for us!

Soffya and Doyal are perfect hosts. We felt immediately at home in Jojies. The room and the location are good and the breakfast in their lovely terras garden on the roof is very tasty.

Housed in a renovated Dutch colonial building, Poovath is located on the white sands of Fort Kochi Beach. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, it features an outdoor pool and a restaurant.

This is a hidden gem in the heart of Fort Kochi , right on the beachfront and at a great location. The hotel is steeped in history (built around a 17th Century Dutch home) and has an attentive staff. If you are looking for personalised care and attention especially when travelling with seniors this is a great option. The hotel has an in-house restaurant with great breakfast , lunch and dinner options - delicately made and good variety. The kitchen made no-spice meals for my grandma every day - thank you! If there is a negative it will be the lack of TVs in the room and a small pool.
