Beautiful new boutique hotel on the very quiet Kalkudah Beach. A beautiful setting with gorgeous garden and sea views from every room. Spacious accommodation including a large room and bathroom, and many communal sitting areas. Each room also includes a private terrace or veranda with comfortable furniture. The staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, with a special mention to the chef Manoj who created beautifully presented, freshly cooked and most importantly delicious food. He catered each meal to our specific requests and dietary needs. It is a wonderful property to stay and relax. It’s worth noting that there’s nothing to walk out to and the town is a bit of a distance, but you will have a lovely time staying and relaxing at this hotel. The beach itself is stunning, the water is calm, clean and warm and its is fringed by palms. Paradise

We stayed 5 nights and had a great time. It was super clean, fast WiFi, shared fridge - the hosts are super friendly and full of information. Very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We had breakfast there and it was delicious..Highly recommended!

This hotel stands out in so many ways! Firstly, the food is simply extraordinary, offering a menu with great variety. What stands out the most, is the fact they only serve freshly caught fish and seafood, crafting dishes that offer exceptional value for money. Every meal felt wonderfully generous, with complimentary starters, plentiful bread baskets, and a variety of options. The breakfast is equally impressive, featuring unlimited à la carte choices, superb bread baskets, fresh croissants, and an abundance of juices and lassis. We stayed in two very spacious beach-front tents, which were fantastic. The common areas, including the bar and dining area, provided stunning views and were beautifully designed. The beach itself was vast and pristine, with no other hotels or properties in sight. The entire hotel is a marvel of thoughtful design, with every detail carefully chosen. Finally, the staff, led by Umberto, the Italian General Manager, were outstanding from the moment we arrived until our departure. Each member of the team, from the waiters to our butler, was incredibly friendly and attentive to detail. Umberto the GM who is a former chef, is deeply involved with the culinary offerings, elevating the dining experience to new heights. The standard set by this hotel is unparalleled, particularly in terms of value for money. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!

The owners and manager were both lovely. Sunil offered to drive us around the nearby shops and beach, and gave us a great local experience! My friend and I got sick from a restaurant and the hotel staff were very accommodating in helping us get better and organising dinner and breakfast for us. The manager made sure we had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay, and also organised a driver for us to get to Arugam Bay!

From the dining area we could see and hear the sea. It was magical. The food was delicious and the staff did everything to make us comfortable and happy. We loved staying here!

It was really a great time spend in Kallady, Batticaloa. The stay at Coastal Villa was Superb. Nice location and very good service by Suzan food was true homely and very tasty. We had tea from inside. It was really a memorable stay with Jutha's family. Thank you for your Love, kindness, and care, dear Joel and Suzan. The room was too big with double size bed and an attatched bathroom big with the beautiful plant inside of it. We were able to get all delicious food with good dining facilities worthy for our money quality and quantity were perfect. I will recommend Coastal Villa for all.

Everything was perfect – the place is incredibly quiet and peaceful, with everything brand new and spotlessly clean. The staff were super friendly and welcomed us with ice cream, which was such a sweet touch! The food was delicious, and the location is just a short walk from the seaside. We had the beach almost entirely to ourselves – such a rare and relaxing experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for tranquility and comfort!
