The pool is huge and fantastic for families and the dining experience was very positive too. The bar menu is accessible, the buffet very wide ranging with multiple cuisine types, and the Sri Lankan restaurant good quality. The private beach looks good but was closed to us. We also used the gym which had a couple of running machines and climbing, bikes etc.

Big room, bed was comfy. Amazing views on the beach, food was really good, and the pool was lovely.

The location is great. Having seen the Hilton, Laya is right on the beach with immediate access from all rooms. Perfect to see the sun rise and set. The rooms are fairly spacious.
The bed is soft and marginally comfortable.

The location is incredible, it’s right on the ocean with an infinity pool overlooking the beach.
The bedrooms are huge and very comfortable.
We saw a wild elephant at the hotel.
The staff were very attentive and offered to make a bonfire on the beach (there was a storm so we couldn’t).
The pool was warm and lovely.
