Very nice resort, with super friendly staff - from the reception, to the kitchen, the bar, the cleaners - every one was genuinely friendly. The hotel is set up beautifully in front of the lagoon, and all the areas are very cozy: the indoor restaurant, the outdoor sitting area, the outdoor beach bar, the yoga room: everything is neat! The food was incredibly good, with a huge buffet offering lots of different options (we even found the quality to be way better than the more expensive hotels on the other side of the lagoon!). Our bungalow room was comfortable, and the cleaning ladies even offered to clean it twice a day if we wanted (which was'nt necessary for us, but still a nice gesture/option!). The director was around during our stay, and he seemed friendly not only to the customers but also to the staff, while having everything under control. The free pick-up/drop off shuttle was very convenient as well. The wingfoil instructor we had - Rachid - was super nice and competent, and he was the reason we decided to take more lessons despite the high prices. Also a special shout out to the barman (the one that was running the beachbar during the afternoons), who was incredibly friendly and professional, with strong communication skills in english as well.

Very nice place to stay. The room has a full kitchen. And a nice view with a lot of sleeping places. WiFi and electric was down for a few minutes but not a problem for me. It's a good place to stay if you have a family or a group of friends.

First of all the staff was amazing! They were very welcoming and helpful with whatever we needed. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and nice. I highly recommend staying at South Bay!

I was truly impressed by Bavaro. It beautifully showcased the perfect harmony and collaboration between Moroccan and other African staff — as if reflecting Dakhla’s unique position between West Africa and Moroccan territory. Everyone was kind, smiling, and consistently attentive to every request. I really enjoyed the outdoor activities they proposed, including camel riding, scuba diving, and a full package tour to places like the White Dune, Sebkhat Imlili, Porto Rico Beach, and Asmaa (the thermal spring), among others. They also provide a convenient shuttle service from/to the airport. The hotel itself features a beautiful private beach where you can swim and relax. It’s also a perfect place for families. Even if you’re travelling with a toddler, the chef and kitchen staff will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I sincerely thank the entire team for making our stay so pleasant. Everything was wonderful and relaxing — I truly enjoyed my time with my family.

I had an outstanding stay at Westpoint Dakhla! Everything exceeded my dreams and wishes of my time here. The room was perfect, right on the beach - sleeping to the sound of the waves. The food was absolutely delicious and the amazing kitchen stuff provided a huge variety for the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet to choose from (all food is included in the room price!). The cleaning team was extremely kind and worked so thoroughly - with the amazing Kabira as the head of the cleaning team who kept making sure that everything was according to my wishes and even exceeding them. The room was neat, clean and fresh every single day. Last but not least I want to especially mention the entire outstanding team of Westpoint Dakhla. They all became really dear to my heart and I feel like I found a new family in them. Everybody in the garden, restaurant, service works with a big smile on their face and offered service even before I could think of asking for it. Fadwa and Aya at Reception gave me the warmest welcome I could have dreamed of and with all their heart they made sure that I had the best time. The hotel is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy Dakhla! The buildings, the two pools and the garden are beautifully designed, the ocean view is amazing, the staff is very friendly. The breakfast and dinner menus offer everything you need (and more) by combining international classics and local cuisine - all very delicious! The SPA is lovely and very good! The hotel arranged for us to rent a car which made traveling around the city and to the different kitesurfing-spots very easy. We felt very safe everywhere and very much enjoyed our stay - will definitely come back!
