The property is just incredible. The villa with the private pools are so nice, and the views are so worth it. We were there during wet season but we still had quite plenty of sun. Altho there is not A/C, there is a very good bed cooling system. Food portions are quite big and tasty so sharing is totally fine if you are not so starving :) Oh, and the coffee, the smell is already amazing.

Highly recommend staying at Buena Onda. Baba was super welcoming from the very first minute and makes you feel at home. Celine’s breakfasts are out of this world and really made my morning every day. Both of them were amazing hosts. The hostel is super clean, has an amazing view and outdoor/coworking area. The rooms are super spacious and stay cool during the night. Excellent value for money. Can’t wait to visit again.

The beach is picture postcard quality. If you imagine sitting in the shade of a palm tree, watching the waves rolling in and the sun setting in the ocean, while sipping a pina colada, you come close! Also the room we had was very generous and spotless clean. Finally, Heidi gave us some first class mefical care when my wife was stung by a sting ray. Thanks to her she fully recovered within a night's sleep.

The water slide, pools. and diving area were incredible. Food was excellent with good options. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the location nestled away in nature. Grounds are stunning. And of course the "standard king room" is a full size suite / 1 bedroom apt!

A nice place to stay away from the crazy center of town but an easy walk to get there. The staff was so attentive and the breakfast was delicious. The pool is very nice.
