We had a great stay at this very hospitable and immaculately kept historic guesthouse. We had a two-night stay and all member of our family, including three teenagers, felt very much at home. Location is excellent for touring the wondeful Hardangerfjord area. All food from breakfast to dinner is homemade and plenty, using the best local ingredients and prepared by a talented chef. We highly recommend the dinner, it was the best food and overall dining experience in a 10 day tour around Norway, and we really appreciated the stories and little surprises offered by the charming hostess.

Set in Lofthus along the Hardangerfjord, 32 km from Odda, Lofthus Camping boasts a children's playground and a private beach area. Kinsarvik is 8 km from the property.

Extraordinary location on the shore of the fjord, with view toward the surrounding mountains on the opposite side. Vast facilities with balconies, decks and gardens where to relax. Astonishing swimming pool that we didn't have the chance to try for lack of time. Incredible breakfast and buffet dinner, with amazing choices. Passenger ferry stops just next door.

It is a beautiful camping with amazing views from all sides! What a pity that we were only for one day here. Spacious territory, terraces in houses, good location. And many thanks to the camping employee, a young guy who helped us in all matters. A step in the house broke and he repaired it instantly! thank you for a wonderful vacation!!!

Excellent breakfast buffet, varied and plentiful. I would also recommend trying the restaurant. The staff was very helpful and welcoming.
