This lodge is truly luxurious and the gracious hosts put their heart into this place. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the perfectly curated menu with local NZ foods, the plush linens and towels, to the decadent and eco-friendly bath products. It was everything we hoped for and more. We spent our time on beaches, enjoyed the kayaks provided, and watched the stars while relaxing in the jacuzzi. The indoor soaker tub was the cherry on top. This place was absolutely unforgettable.

lovely location with the beach right down the driveway! we lent two nights and found the suite to be stocked above and beyond which made it so easy for us to cook dinners. the suite was clean beyond reproach! we loved it!

The location was amazing being across from the ocean/sand bar. We chose to walk downtown as just under 2km for groceries and restaurants. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and up to date. BBQ came in handy for a dinner in.
