Let me start by saying the hosts are amazing, I have never felt so welcomed and comfortable to stay in a guesthouse! The place has everything you need for your stay, the kitchen is well stocked with cookware and the house is very clean. The location for me was perfect, it’s just outside the chaos of the downtown core but easy and fast enough to get to by public transportation and by vehicle. It’s walking distance to the trains, trams, local authentic food and a grocery store. I will only stay here whenever I visit Portugal and would recommend it to anyone.

Comfortable and fully equipped flat in a lovely location. Walking out of the flat right into the old town street. A view of the restaurant, the shop. One could sit for a long time and enjoy these views. Around midday the tide was out and you could observe the seafood fishermen at their work. Very good contact with the hostess (Guilhermina). Hassle-free check-in and check-out (code for the locker). You have to drive around a bit and look for a parking space - I recommend in the street by the river, from there it's a walk of about 3 minutes to the flat. We are very satisfied and would be happy to return.

We were thrilled with our stay! This is a place we definitely want to return to. The owner was kind and welcoming. We felt a genuine desire to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room turned out to be very cosy. It has everything you need for a comfortable break, and the atmosphere lets you relax instantly. For those who cannot find pans and pots, they are right under the microwave :-) The view from the balcony is simply a dream. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying our morning coffee was pure pleasure. Even at the end of November, the experience is indescribable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.
