Coco Reef Lodge is a small paradise in a beautiful location with thoughtful, sweet and kind owners and staff. I was there for my last two nights of my vacation and it had the serene peacefulness that I was looking for. It is right on the beach, surrounded by a beautiful garden with lots of flowers, greenery, cats and chicken. The bungalows itself are very big and have a beautiful terraces to relax. The interior is simple and welcoming and matches the beach bungalow island vibe you can expect. I would always come back to this magical place and highly recommend it!

I don't know where to start! The owners were so nice and always ready to help you with anything....The location is so beautiful , directly on the beach with the beautiful view...The house where you sleep and the whole place is decorated in such a beautiful and artistic way thanks to Olivia...The food was delicious and prepared by your host and their chef...The whole room was clean and the toilet was big with a normal pressure which is not so common in Africa!

Everything this place is a hidden gem, the place is super nice, clean and the food is extraordinary. You will definitely be back for chef aly, and the staff was amazing, fatma was great great help. One of the only places ever that has exceeded our expectations. We stayed for our last 3 nights in Zanzibar and wish we had longer. Promised land is just magical. Stunning, laid back jungle, beach vibes, great food and friendly staff and outstanding views over the turquoise sea, especially at sunset when you can experience drumming and singing around the firepit. The rooms were huge and comfortable and there's a resident monkey family that likes to hang out in the gym!

The property located on the beach is stunning. The rooms are spacious, clean and wonderful. Staff has gone beyond to make my stay incredible. During my stay I received great news and Mohamed has gone an extra mile to celebrate this in a way I enjoy; with whiskey and cigar. Suleman and Raquel have always had smile and did everything needed to make sure my stay here has been beyond expectations. Head chef Amr has surprised me and some other guests with Egyptian food, Swahili chicken. Everything has been delicious. This has been by far one of my favorite places to stay.

We came here at the very end of our trip for a couple days of relaxation after all the travelling. The location is quiet with not much around it but that didn't matter to us because we were looking to enjoy the resort. The resort in amazing! Absolute paradise. The staff are incredible, everyone is so friendly and kind. The pools are beautiful, the stairways to the ocean are amazing. Beautiful sunsets. The rooms are gorgeous and so clean, the most comfortable bed out of all the hotels we stayed in on our trip to Zanzibar. They have turn down service in the evenings which was so lovely to experience. The entertainment was different every evening and it was brilliant every time. All hotel facilities were amazing also. The food was great for the most part and the drinks were good too. We just want to give a special mention to one of the staff members who took part in the Aqua gym, and the pool volleyball. We think his name was Amos? He was the friendliest, most cheerful young man. We loved chatting to him everyday. He is very young, 17 years old I think, and his English is so good and he's so keen to learn. We were so impressed with him.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, the staff & management were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious as well as other meals in the ocean view restaurant. The hotel boasts a large, green space, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were recently refreshed and provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

The location is magical, not many tourists around, very paceful and calm. Staff go an extra length to help with any wish you may have and are genuinly friendly. There is a list of diferent dishes for the breakfast from which you can choose two... so there are many combinations and even if you stay longer you don't get bored by one and the same. Anyway it is difficult to skip the fruit platter so you just have to choose one ;-)
