The seafood in the restaurant was absolutely amazing — truly some of the best we’ve had. The staff was always smiling and ready to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The private city tour they arranged showed us some beautiful spots, and overall the hotel offered a very pleasant experience.

I stayed in BaraBara for a couple of nights and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are simple yet carefully designed, with a lot of small details that help make it a comfortable and cozy stay. I also liked how they included many upcycled items. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of options to choose from. For dinner, the restaurant serves pizzas which I highly recommend you try, it was one of the best meals I had on the island. The highlight of this place though is the staff, they are so welcoming, kind and give a lot of attention to their guests. The location is also very practical with many little shops around and the beach within a 10min walk.

From the moment I arrived, everyone was friendly. The room was big, AC and a ceiling fan made the room cool. I was on the 1st floor, overlooking the pool. They have a good choice of food and drinks available in the open-air restaurant, at the best prices you can find. A short walk leads to the beach, which is stunning, a white sand paradise with lots of kite surfers. Picture perfect.

Its very close to the beach. The staff is polite and friendly. They answered to every question we had: about food, prayers, habits, locations and activities. They always helped and were available. There is also breakfast included in the price. You can choose from the menu and you always get fresh fruits with it. Trough the day they filled our bottle with drinking water. The room was clean and refreshed every day. The ambient is nice, there is also beautiful garden with tropical plants. We felt welcome here and If we ever go to Paje again, then we will for sure come in this villa.

The location, rooms, other facilities, restaurant, staff.. everything was very good! We also liked low tides, because you can walk on the ocean floor looking for sea shelves, for example. The landscape is also just amazing, very different during low tides. Except of staying in the hotel, you can walk along the beach both ways to Bwejuu or Jambiani, which we did. And in our opinion Paje has the best beach with clean ocean floor and water. Also, it is not crowded like in Kendwa, for example, which we visited one day. Staff speaks different languages and is veeeeery helpful and friendly! They can help you to organise you an excursion, if you need it. Even a loud music from a neighbour hotel on Wednesday wasn't too loud. If you use ear plugs, you can easily fall asleep. :) We'd stay in the resort again!
