SwitzerlandA true gem on the Tanzanian coast – highly recommended!
I’ve travelled extensively across Tanzania for work and leisure over many years, and I rarely write reviews—but this place truly deserves one. It’s a hidden gem: peaceful, beautifully located right by the beach, and run with great care. Tucked away by a quiet stretch of beach, it’s one of those rare spots that feels both untouched and incredibly welcoming.
Hali is a warm and wonderful host—thoughtful, attentive, and deeply connected with the surrounding village. Her respectful relationship with the local community makes for a truly immersive experience, far from the usual tourist trail.
The beach is beautiful, calm, and often feels like your own private paradise. There’s a wide range of accommodation options—from sleeping in a breezy treehouse by the sea (you can wake up watching fishermen set out in the morning!) to fully air-conditioned rooms with all the comfort you might want.
There’s no shortage of things to do: kayaking through the mangroves, snorkeling in nearby reefs, or just soaking up the quiet beauty of the coast.
If you’re looking for a place that blends comfort, authenticity, and natural beauty—this is it. I’ll definitely be back.
