Loved the location with the pool and beach access. Loved the restaurant, delicious food!!

The room is spotless clean, loved the towels and linen and the comfy mattress. The kitchenette was a HUGE plus. Right out the sliding glass doors was a lovely heated pool and out the front door was a porch with table and chairs. Across the street is beach access which on Sanibel is a premium amenity and the shells are huge. Everything is well kept and clean and inviting. Will definitely stay again when my travels take me to the lovely island of Sanibel.

The beach access was super close to our room, the room was clean and refreshing, the resort restaurant had some of the best food I've had in awhile, the tiki bar staff were great, everything was just amazing during our stay😁

Our stay at Tarpon Tale was wonderful! Joe was the perfect host- providing everything we needed- from bikes to umbrellas to beach towels- to have a restful beach week! The beach access was just a 5 minute walk- very convenient! The breakfast/ice cream shop across the street was an added bonus!

The hotel is right across the street from a beach access path, so access to the beach was great.
Also, the bed was very comfortable and for an efficiency room there was plenty of room and I liked the kitchenette and full tub.

This resort was one of the few now opened 15 months after Hurricane Ian. There was nothing at all wrong with the facility; it was just not the cottage like facility we had patronized for the previous 27 years. Our “resort” was the Castaways. Hurricane Ian removed that completely from existence. Sanibel island Beach Resort is a hotel with direct access to the beach.
