I had such a fantastic experience staying at Historic Hotel Nichols in South Haven. The location couldn’t be more perfect—just steps away from everything in town and close to the lake. My room was spotless, cozy, and full of charm, making it feel like a true home away from home. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care every morning. It was such a great way to start the day! What really made my stay memorable, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. The location was excellent, only a 5 mins drive from Main Street in South Haven. The woman on reception when we arrived was extremely helpful and friendly, esp as we had laundry to do. Our girls loved the indoor pool and breakfast the next day was a cheap and cheerful way to save money and start our day. Shermans across the road was excellent for ice cream.
