Great new boutique place in a great location in Simon's Town -- close to the famous Boulders Beach. Alexandra, the host, and her husband have redone a century-old heritage building and created an oasis. Facilities were excellent, including pool, lots of info and snorkel gear. Arrival worked out very smoothely, but gate + driveway is rather narrow and requires some precision with a larger car.

Beautiful apartments with a private pool and magnificent views of the ocean. The location is very convenient. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary, a gas stove, which is important during a power outage. The owner is wonderful and responsive. You will receive advice on any issue. This is the place where you want to return.

Being a boutique hotel, everything was cozy, intimate and comfortable. It's wonderful to wake up to the sounds of the ocean and the penguins, who are just not cute and noisy, but apparently, they bite! Kirsty, Nelson and team were exceptionally warm and welcoming. Simon's Town has a certain charm to it. We ate out at Dixie's. The food was great and the cocktails packed a punch.

What is not to like about this property - food, views, company, service! We made friends during our stay, we felt like family there - definitely coming back. Have more than one dinner here - the food is that good please do trust me. Firstly our room was beautiful, very big with all the amenities you could ask for. The views of the ocean my goodness they are within plain site every day. Also good sunrise views if you can wake up for it - stunning sunrise. Now let’s talk about the food, we stayed 3 nights and everyday our room got little baked treats. Their breakfast is like no other - from the fruit salad, to the home made granola and everything else. Then the dinners - Michelin star dinners every single night oh my what an experience.

The house was amazing and the staff was incredible too!! It was an amazing way to end our trip in Cape Town. We really joyed being in Kalk Bay near the beach and access to good places to eat.

Last Word Long Beach is right on the Atlantic coast in the picturesque lobster-fishing village of Kommetjie, a 30-minute drive from Cape Town.
