Dit traditionele hotel wordt al 3 generaties lang door een familie beheerd en ligt aan het begin van het voetgangersgebied van St. Wolfgang en direct aan de oever van de Wolfgangsee. Georg, was amazing! The view, amazing! Food, amazing !

Villa Alma - a lakeside Boutique Hotel ligt in Sankt Gilgen, op 31 km van station Salzburg Centraal, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een privéstrand. Villa Alma is ons perfect bevallen. Alle ruimtes zijn sfeervol ingericht en stralen rust uit. De ligging aan het water is perfect en het uitzicht op de bergen is fenomenaal. Het ontbijt dat ‘s ochtends vers werd bereid was volledig naar wens en de service van al het personeel was persoonlijk. Ook hebben we nog gebruik gemaakt van de sauna. We zijn hier twee nachten verbleven maar dat was veel te kort.

Landhaus Leopoldhof ligt in Sankt Wolfgang, en biedt een spa- en wellnesscentrum. De accommodatie is voorzien van een restaurant en heeft ook een privéstrand, een binnenbad en een sauna. We were welcomed very pleasantly. We were very happy to be able to check-in after check-in hours. We were even happier after hearing we are getting a free upgrade to a better room. The room was very clean and had stunning views of the lake. The bed was very comfortable. At the breakfast table we had a great view of the lake and the breakfast-buffet offered a large selection. The available underground car park was very convenient. The highlight was the wellness area, which was accessible through a underground tunnel. The outdoor pools are comfortably warm (34 degrees) and the finish saunas are great. We really enjoyed sunbathing in the textile and textile free area, we felt very comfortable due to great sight protection. The privat access to the lake was also very cool and calming.

The apartment is huge and modern with a large living room, kitchen with all the amenities, large bedroom w/ comfy bed, wardrobe, large bathroom w/ 2 sinks. There is a washer/dryer on the street level to use. Plus a wrap around balcony where you can see the lake, mountains and just look down the road entering town. Thomas, met us for check-in&out was a very wonderful host for us who responded promptly to questions. We received a Wolfgansee card and a mobility card that allows free use of public transportation within the region, including in Salzburg. There is a nice app that takes your location and gives you the option and time frames for public transport. If you get the print version of the card, don’t make the mistake we made and think the Wolfgangsee card covers both. There is a (paid) ferry on the lake. We took that in the morning to St. Gilgen, walked around there, took the bus down to Strobl, had a meal there then took the bus back to St. Wolfgang, where the bus station is 2 minute walk from the apartment. St. Wolfgang, itself, is incredibly charming – the best of the towns around the lake. We ate dinner out there every night. As there is “on the other end of town” a resort/conference center, so there are a surprising number of restaurants for the size of the town. We enjoyed our meals at each one of them, especially eating at sunset overlooking or next to the lake. Walking through the various streets, which are winding, is just delightful. Also, the church in town has 2 spectacular altars due to the historical significance of the town and St. Wolfgang’s connection.

Hello, we enjoyed our holiday in Fumerhof very much :) Apartment (we stayed in apartment with lake view) was really nice, sunny, modern, kitchen very well equipped (even coffee and tea available), bathroom with walk in shower. Everything super clean. You have the possibility to order for the mornings some fresh bread, croissant..., even fresh milk or eggs. The lady was very welcoming, nice, explained everything to us. There is at the lake an area which belongs to the apartment so you can enjoy during summer swimming and sunbathing :)
