Danuberoom is located just outside Vienna City Centre immediately adjoining and overlooking the old Danube lake. Miles and miles of lakeside walks, cycleways, and other leisure amenities on your doorstep. Westfield Austria's biggest shopping centre is 5 minutes walk. Lots of food options. City Centre 10 miutes by public transport. The U1 line serves all the main city attractions.
Had the best of both worlds during our weeks' stay in August 2025. Busy City when we wanted and most enjoyable lakeside amenities when we wanted more relaxation.
We found the apartment safe, secure, and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Has air-conditioning and large tv with access to Netflix and so on.. The large balcony got sun up to about 3 p.m.
Landlord Mike, who lives adjoining in a separate apartment helpfully and quickly answered any questions we sent via the Booking.com app but otherwise didn't impose.
Having surpassed all our expectations, the combination of all the above made for a fantastic experience and enjoyable holiday. We will definitely be back to Vienna and the Danuberoom apartment sometime in the near future and would highly recommend.

Elizabeth our hostess was very welcoming; she and her husband helped with our luggage and as we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, she very kindly provided our breakfast on Monday morning.
The weather was intensely hot and sleeping was not easy, but our hostess provided electric fans for our comfort. Also there was a welcome Nespresso machine so we could have coffee.

Very nice large house in a quiet location, 20 minutes by car from the center of Vienna. It has 4 bedrooms, a living room with a kitchen, and a small yard with a grill. There is a nice natural swimming area (Hirschstetten) nearby, and in the surrounding area, there are playgrounds, climbing frames, swings, etc. The arrangement with the owners was absolutely trouble-free, and communication is possible in English. A total of 9 of us were accommodated there (2 families = 4 adults and 5 children) and we all really enjoyed it. I can only recommend it.

Strandhotel Alte Donau has a private beach and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi access. Vienna’s city centre can be reached by underground in only a few minutes.

A beautiful, clean apartment with everything needed for both short and long stays, including modern household technique. Perfect location—only about 100 meters to the metro, yet quiet inside with no metro noise. Billa is just a few minutes' walk away. The responsive host was always available and helpful with any questions. Highly recommended; we loved our stay with the kids!

This property was the perfect place to stay for our week long conference at the Vienna Conference Center. The property was quiet, extremely clean, had a fabulous spread for breakfast and had the friendliest, most helpful staff. They also have a private beachfront property you can ask about at the front desk. There is a grocery store next door and a huge shopping mall a couple of blocks away. The subway station is close and old town is just a few subway stops away, without changing lines. It was perfect for our needs!
