This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.

Learned, that the building has a lot of interesting history. Impeccably clean place. Spacious room and bathroom. Tasty, high quality and varied breakfast. Located in a (quiet, high quality) pedestrian zone, but accessible by car to drop off bags. Just a very short walk to the lakeside promenade, with lots of restaurants, and the boat landing. We had a great couple of days there and loved the area.
