We enjoyed the pool, clean rooms and proximity to the town. Off street safe parking. AC in the rooms worked a treat and the rain shower was warm. Hot coffee awaiting in our private outside lounge area every morning and fabulous breakfast available on order. We would definitely stay again !

The homestay has family rooms. beautiful quiet place, my husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The room was smaller but very nice and clean. It was a short walk to the beach. The owners are very nice and listened to our requests. I recommend it.

The apartments are so beautiful and you feel at home as soon as you enter it. It’s made with much love and has a beautiful design. The location is of course a bit off but you have 2 restaurants in walking distance and so many nice beaches around. Out of all my accommodations I had in CR this was my favorite. Also the owner is just the best person ever! Such a warmhearted, funny woman, always there to help if you need anything! :))

I was pleasantly surprised not only by the generous breakfast but also by the fact that they served freshly baked pastries made by their own hands. I also appreciated that they lent me beach chairs, provided beach towels, and even did quite a lot of my laundry. Other small details—like ice cubes in containers or insect repellent—only added to the thoughtful care the hosts showed. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I especially liked that there were two sinks in the bathroom. I highly recommend it.

This was one of our multiple stays in Costa Rica, and we were truly impressed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Above all, the Refugio concept — which includes a beautiful café and a cozy bar offering excellent food and drinks — truly exceeded our expectations. Unlike at other accommodations, we didn't have to eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast every day, but could instead choose from a wide variety of delicious brunch options directly from the restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed — from arranging surf lessons to recommending great local restaurants. We were mainly in touch with Augustin, who took excellent care of us. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and can highly recommend this place.
