This was our first trip to Curacao. The Bayside Boutique Hotel is both elegant and comfortable, a tranquil retreat ideally situated at the bay and beach. Loved the ability to snorkel directly from shore. The pool, while small, was a refreshing break. No problem securing chaise lounges. The staff are excellent, in particular Melissa and Janna, along with Imelda, who cooked several of our delicious complimentary breakfasts (we'd met at the Bonaire Airport enroute to our stay at Bayside). All of our needs were met quickly, professionally and sincerely. The generous welcome basket was a wonderful surprise. Glad we had a rental car, which is needed to reach the resort and for island exploration. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in our Sunset Suite (appreciated having a living room, separate bedroom, kitchen and balcony with a narrow sea view and sunset views). We are looking to return next year.

The location was really good. It was very clean and pretty much had everything we needed. The view was phenomenal. The other “residents “ were also very respectful and kind.

Mondi Lodge offers an outdoor pool, tropical gardens and air-conditioned wooden bungalows with fully equipped kitchenettes and free WiFi. Blue Bay Beach is just a 2-minute drive away. Very rarely do you find a place that changes your entire trip. Mondi Lodge is one such place and the true highlight of Curaçao. The people, the grounds, the animals. So much special in one place.
