Still reminiscing on how we were pampered in this family-run hotel. Spotless round-the-clock cleaning of both the rooms and the common areas, tons (and I mean tons) of useful appliances for everything you might need: from a covered barbecue area with full family-sized kitchen and sitting space, to the main fully furnished kitchen, lots of free-to-use snorkeling and water sports equipment like kayaks and SUP boards, boiling/warm/cold water dispenser in the room... The common pool is always super well kept up and inviting, very enjoyable despite being a few steps away from the sea, especially if the tide is too low to comfortably swim around the beautiful, extensive coral fields all around the area, or even during rainy days. We stayed in both the villa and the upper-floor room: the (huge) villa is exceptional value for a family, and literally stepping out to jump in the pool or run to the beach is priceless, but being just two we felt cozier in the room which also offered a high vantage point to enjoy the views! The free parking was most welcome, and right opposite the street there is a collection of shops and restaurants that can satisfy most needs, featuring even a spa studio! A short walk away you can also enjoy the street food and horse rides next to the pier. Lots of local attractions a short car drive away are also all around the area (waterfalls, diving spots, nice villages and resort areas, or just random beautiful spots so abundant in Fiji). Sun, Bill and all the staff are extremely helpful, kind and just a joy to be around - you made our honeymoon in your hotel such a highlight, by the end we felt we like were staying with friends. We'll remember it for the rest of our lives thanks to you! And we'll always remember the types of coconuts too ;)

Location wasn't too far away from main activities. Was super quiet and private. Was great to be able to cook own meals and keep a few cold beers available. Pool was excellent place to chill out and relax The hosts were fantastic. Stayed up late to welcome us, offered to drop us to the airport and on our first morning (without rental car) drove us to the supermarket to get supplies. Also dropped us some basic foods and bottled water. Thanks.

Set on a private island paradise, Toberua Island Resort offers thatched-roof bungalows situated by clear waters and white sands. Completely relaxed stay and the beds were most comfortable. The outdoor shower was ideal. Loads of privacy and the food and beverages . Overall the staff made a great impression. The masseuse gave a wonderful deep tissue massage Thank s to all the staff.

Very cute and comfortable house, great views of the ocean and a short distance to the store. The house is complete with anything I think you would need for your stay, the outside area is full of trees and flowers making its a cozy retreat.

The unit is comfortable, we didn’t cook but just use kettle and fridge. ac works and shower pressure is very strong 3. The property is nice with trees/ herbs. we even got a sweet papaya and lemon grass and mint from Ken’s garden 4. we took bus from Nadi, you can checkout sunbeam/pacific bus line for schedule, ( cost 13 fjd) you can get off at Maui bay road. and it’s only 10 min walk to Ken’s place or ken can pick you up and give you a quick introduction of the area. We got take away fish and chips at the restaurant near the jetty and you can buy beer at the liquor land. 5. bring mosquito spray and shampoo/shower gel 6. only cash for the accommodation We enjoyed our last day in Fiji at Ken’s place. thanks fellow canadian🍁
