Less than a 2-minute stroll from the beach, OYO Minerva Guesthouse offers free WiFi, a bar, and a games room with a billiards table and dartboard. Located in the seaside town of Newquay, the property is surrounded by shops and restaurants. Blue Reef Aquarium is 3 minutes' walk away. Six of us spent four nights at the Minerva Guesthouse. We were welcomed by very kind hosts, put up in a small but comfortable (family) room and a double room with a view of the beach. Breakfast was adequate and you could ask from a menu. The breakfast area is small, so guests are expected to have breakfast in two rotations based on room number. Our two rooms were not in the same rotation, but the host was flexible to arrange for us to have breakfast together. The house is located 150 m from the beach. On the first day there was parking in front of the house, then we had to look for it, but 300 meters away there is a big parking lot where you have to pay between 9 am and 6 pm. If you are on the road during the day, parking is free. Margaret and Owen, thank you very much!

Big spacious room, great view out the window, great decor, very comfortable furnishings, lots of thoughtful personal touches. Hosts Kevin and Lucy were super hospitable and accommodating.

The property is around 48 km from Newquay Train Station, 21 km from The Lizard and Kynance Cove and 22 km from Lizard Point. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Porthleven Beach is 400 metres away. This large, well-appointed apartment is centrally located. Access was easy. The bed was comfortable, the shower was clean and functional.

This recently renovated guest house is located 7.2 km from St Michael's Mount and 15 km from Minack Theatre. Lizard Lighthouse is 41 km from the guest house and Tate St Ives is 15 km away. Lovely building with lots of character. The room was very spacious, nicely renovated in an unusual way (the open plan bathroom/bedroom). Liked the location as it was right next to the Lidl store and in a quieter part of town.

Beautiful apartment in a quiet hilltop neighborhood. There is a bright and cheery sitting area, and a spacious, well-equipped kitchen and open dining area, all on one ground level. The neighborhood pub is 2 blocks away (no hill climbing!) if you fancy a pint or a pub meal, but many, more choices down at sea level. Groceries are about a 10 min walk downhill/uphill to the Testco Express near the National Maritime Museum and shops on the High Street if you're preparing meals in. walk in shower is a nice convenience. It's only a couple steps up to the entry door from street level through a wonderful stone garden. The glassed-in porch area make it possible to wait for your ride without being outside in the wind or rain :-)

The property itself was very well kept, I would say the pictures do it no Justice. I was pleasantly surprised to see how nicely decored the rooms were. Me and my partner would recommend this place to anyone. I found the rooms slightly smaller than most places but the cleanliness/decor and kitchenette certainly made up for it.

The property features sea and quiet street views, and is 14 km from St Michael's Mount. Minack Theatre is 29 km from the guest house and Lizard Lighthouse is 42 km away. A wonderful view and great welcome from Debbie and Carl. Nice small touches like comfy robes and toiletries. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. Great location near town and bus station.
