Anna welcomed us and explained the workings of the apartment. It was spacious with a well equipped kitchen, homely sitting room and massive bathroom, all topped off with a cool mezzanine with a large bed. Anna had left a welcome hamper full of homemade goodies, wine, cold drinks, a chocolate Easter bunny and a red egg (traditional for Greek Easter) and filled us in about Greek Easter traditions and local restaurants, bars. Such a wonderful, friendly Greek welcome. Now onto the shower, the best shower ever, spacious and powerful with a plentiful supply of hot water. We hired a quad bike to explore the island and Anna promptly answered any queries we had. After three days in beautiful Symi Anna and her husband gave us a lift back to the ferry and we left a piece of our hearts on the island.

It was spacious and airy with a view out to sea and to the town. Niki the owner is one of the kindest people I have dealt with in a long time (I did not meet him). We communicated through text and right away he was friendly and positive. He opened up his apt to me with warmth and understanding as there was terrible weather in the islands and I had to change plans multiple times. Every time I reached out, he was flexible and so friendly. Veta who I met checked me in always came to check on me to see if I needed anything. This is Greek hospitality to the top. I wish everywhere was this way. They really made me feel like I was home. Wishing you the best summer! Thank you for everything!! We were welcomed with a transfer offer to the hotel where the stuff is honestly the kindest ever. They would always help us and have a smile on their faces. They gave us great tips and informations about the island and where to eat/how to get around etc. Location is great being on pedi beach with a bus stop 3 mins away and a water taxi service 5 mins away to take you to the beaches around. Breakfast is small but perfectly fine and shows the local delicacies. The small terrace is a nice touch especially when you’re being awakened up in the morning by a rooster and sheep to look at.
