Dating back to 1895, Bundelkhand Riverside is a previous hunting lodge spread over 50 acres of scenic land on the banks of the River Betwa. The 4-star property in Orchha features an outdoor pool and a games room. The on-site Turquoise Restaurant serves Indian and Continental cuisines. The most beautiful hotel. The dining room was spectacular. Feels like you have stepped back 100 years although it isn't that old. While we were there they were re-tiling the pool, so we couldn't swim.... but there wasn't time. Really a gem.

The people who work in the hotel-very helpful. Nice old haveli,but not in Perfect location-you have to use tuk tukto go to old city. Room are dark,but with good AC, they can inprove clearness-about the sheets and towels

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sunset in Orchha. The location is perfect at the small hill, offering stunning views The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay in Orchha. Aniket also offers great ltinerary and knows Orchha by heart. He have small details about many more unknown hidden monuments of Orchha. The best view with comfy weds.

The best part was the size of the room. It was extremely comfortable. The property is modern and well kept. The pool area is spectacular - perfect for a sunset dip followed by some beers. Being on the better fringe of the city, it skips the hustle & bustle and is still close enough for easy access.

An excellent value for money stay in Orchha. We took the upgrade offered by Owner. We had a room on the top floor which was lovely. Very comfy bed. Breakfast and meal options were very good. We arranged laundry which had a v quick turnaround. Owner also arranged our taxi to Khajuraho - which was exceptionally priced , we had the best local taxi driver. Great location too. Amazing Room with Amazing view. Great Cleanliness. Perfect Location. Good Online Guide.

The staff was very friendly and helped with getting to know the room and booked a tuktuk to Jhansi for us. We got recommendations for the city, cold Pepsi max to buy, we had a nice breakfast, and the view from the hostel was absolutely marvelous, especially the sunset.

This was my second stay at Hotel Sunset Orchha. I returned because I had liked it so much the previous year. Mr. Mahipal, the manager is incredibly helpful and cooks a delicious breakfast. It's a very quite place with a lovely view of the Orchha from the roof terrace. The rooms are spacious and clean. I will probably return each time I stay in Orchha.
