Miyako island is an incredible place, and the rescape makes it even better.  This is not the typical resort with enormous buildings over the sea. The rescape is literally immersed in nature without ruining it.  We stayed in the comfort cottage, a huge room with a private swimming pool. Everything was just perfect: pool, beds, shower, bath tub, breakfast (both "western" and Japanese, served on alternating days). The shabu shabu dinner served to the room was delicious, totally worth it! I appreciated their care for the environment. Also, the staff is so kind and discreet: they will give you all the privacy you need but they're always ready to help you.

Renn san was super friendly, he provided valuable inputs for our snorkeling plans. I wish we stayed there 1-2 more nights to fully utilize his inputs! XD The facility has a great view of the night sky, if you happen to catch a good cloud-less weather while you are there, you would be able to enjoy a good view of the Milky Way!

Away from the hustle and bustle of tourist activity, Coral Sea villa exceeded our expectations in terms of location (30 second walk across the road to the beach, the living space is flooded with natural light, exceptional views), cleanliness, facilities (hot tub, kitchen, comfortable beds, ice cold air conditioners, large TV, generous hotel-style toiletries in a sleepy) and quiet neighbourhood where you get a glimpse of the local lifestyle.
