Great location, really friendly owner who was very accommodating. Felt more than welcome and couldn’t recommend a better place to stay.

My family and felt very comfortable and had a lot of fun. A beautiful and quiet location along the river. Perfect for a bbq and playing in the river. A vey unique and interesting old building. Definitely would like stay again.

In my experience, large onsen hotels with scenic views (eg Enoshima) tend to not offer very good food and cut a few corners on maintenance but the food was very good and everything (including music playing in the corridors) was thoughtfully and carefully maintained. This stay was one of the highlights of my 10-day solo trip.
