KD, the host, was easy to coordinate with from start to finish. We planned a last minute trip to Mombasa with a limited window of time to explore the city. KD made sure we had a reliable driver who also helped to arrange a city tour that went far beyond our expectations. The location is safe and quiet despite being so centrally located. We were able to arrive by train and depart by air without any hassles. The residence is extremely secure with strong doors and windows while also feeling very open and airy. We were able to enjoy privacy in a spacious apartment at a boutique residence while also having breakfast included and other meals available upon request. Mercy is a fabulous chef and miraculously produced a wonderful dinner after an exhausting day of sightseeing. WiFi worked perfectly throughout our stay, especially with the extender. Our residence was cleaned daily and was spotless. The bedding and towels were wonderful. The area was quiet at night with the ocean as the only sound. We all wanted to stay longer at the residence to relax and enjoy the view. The resident dogs are adorable. We felt that we were visiting friends in a truly unique and welcoming environment.
