Wow what a great place to relax and enjoy your privacy. A bit away from everything but it was perfect for us... The villa was spacious and clean and it was extremely private.. lovely breakfast. The staff was very kind and attentive. The food was a bit pricey after adding all the taxes and service charge, but it was really good.

Always choose Cinnamon Hotels. The best service and food compared to all other hotels in SL. Lovely employees and customer service. But I have to be honest Rs. 100k for a night was a bit too too expensive and I did not see a reason as to why it was extra expensive compared to other Cinnamon hotels. I found Citadel.....Beruwala Beach having better rooms, etc for half the price.

We were welcomed with popsicles when we arrived. Our room was massive, clean and had all the updated appliances. There was a private patio with a sun bed as well. The staff were incredible welcoming, friendly and helpful. They made the bed everyday, sometimes even twice a day, and they had all the mosquito repellents in the room and even replaced the mosquito lamps, incense and more (although we had no issues in the room probably because of that!). Breakfast selection was amazing and delicious. It was also really fun to watch the train go by in the morning during breakfast. Pool was clean and was really nice to dip in to escape the heat. Super convenient location, just walk across the railway tracks and you’re at the beach. There’s 24 hour security to open the gates for you no matter what time you come back. We started our trip here and it has been so hard to live up to those expectations. It is probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in.

Also, spotless with great decoration and crisp bedsheets. 2 AC units, Staff and owners were very helpful. Modern bathroom with shower cubicle and a jacuzzi bathtub. Very clean. A decent new swimming pool. Cooked us delicious dinner which we loved. Hotel overlooking a beautiful river where we watched speed boating, jet skiing and other rides. We also went on boat safari. Stunning views. Very near to Aluthgama Bus Station. We love it. Will go back.
