I was lucky to have a room overlooking both the sea and the lake, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast buffet deserves a special highlight. It was one of the best I’ve experienced anywhere—an incredible spread featuring both local Sri Lankan delicacies, a lot of Indian and international favorites, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Overall, my experience at ITC Colombo was flawless. The combination of elegant interiors, exceptional dining, stunning views, and world-class hospitality makes it a true gem in Colombo. I left with wonderful memories and will definitely be returning soon.

Manoji and her husband are exceptional hosts: Manoji’s thoughtfulness and care (and her cooking lessons!) made the space feel like home. Highbury is a short tuktuk ride away from the Gallery Cafe and Geoffrey Bawa’s Residence (No. 11). Would definitely return to Highbury if I’m ever back in Colombo!
