Sea Sand Resort heeft een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Kalpitiya. We stayed here for 4 nights and we loved the family atmosphere! The hosts Avi and Sabina are sooooooo nice. We felt very comfortable and welcomed from the first second! Also their three dogs and one cat are super cute! Avi and Sabina helped us out in every situation, they were always at the property to support us and they cook sooo yummy breakfast/dinner! Wow, props to you! It’s also vegan friendly which we loved :) One night Avi put a beamer on and we could watch a movie outside with the other guests, which was pretty cool. The bungalow is sweet decorated , there is an AC, fan, big and comfortable bed and big bathroom. A room to relax and feel comfortable. The own terrace was cool to hang out, read a book or have breakfast. We got a wonderful Christmas Dinner, all self made by our hosts and their staff. The staff is also super friendly and helpful! It’s located close to the beach. There is also many restaurants and shops nearby. All in all we can definitely recommend staying here as long as possible :) thank you 🙏🏽🥰

Dune Towers heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een privéstrand en een gedeelde lounge in Kalpitiya. Deze accommodatie beschikt over roomservice, een restaurant, een waterpark en een terras. Het dolfijnen spotten was heel bijzonder, ga vooral met gids Rikas. Voor de rest was het eten heel uitgebreid en lekker. Het zwembad was ook heel mooi en verkoelend. Neem vooral een massage we hadden een super goeie en lieve masseur. Ook de manager was behulpzaam en aardig. Het is een mooie wandeling naar het strand, maar er lag veel aangespoeld plastic dus neem vooral een zak mee om het hotel een beetje te helpen. We waaren ook dol op de honden diggy en samila. We sliepen in de cottage en hadden daar een 4 persoons bed en een buiten douche, super leuk!!

Surfpoint Sri Lanka Kite Village heeft een tuin, een privéstrand, een gedeelde lounge en een terras in Kalpitiya. SurfPoint Sri Lanka is a really cool spot to spend time, to base from for kiting and/or to take lessons. I did lessons and the quality of the instruction was outstanding. The hotel is comfortable and has a really nice common area where people hang out, eat, and talk story about the day’s adventures and have a laugh. Nevertheless, the hotel is nice and quiet for sleeping. The value is excellent, the food is good and competitively priced, and the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend SurfPoint Sri Lanka, and I plan to return.

Sandy Edge bevindt zich in Kalpitiya met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar en tuin. De chalet beschikt over zowel gratis WiFi als privéparkeren. The place was beautiful and the owner was so lovely. The rooms are pretty basic but they are clean and smell amazing. The owner is so helpful and the food was delicious. There aren’t windows but the net over the bed kept the mosquitos out. We really enjoyed our stay. Kalpitiya is pretty spread out but we had a motorbike so got around okay.

Wild Wadi Wilpattu - Villas with private Plunge Pools in Wilpattu biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op het zwembad, een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een privéstrand, een terras en een restaurant. Fantastic place to stay for so many reasons. The hotel itself feels really like a safari camp with wild animals and birds all around, there are monkeys and squirrels in the gardens. Each room is very private down a small path from the main dining room. The rooms are absolutely huge and wonderfully decorated. They have a large comfortable more-than-double bed and are well equipped with a fridge, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, hot and cold shower, tea and coffee making facilities, towels and robe. The room had huge windows overlooking the forest and its own private terrace and plunge pool perfect for cooling off after a long day. We had a sri lankan style breakfast which was delicious and we ate 2 nights at the hotel. I would highly recommend the seafood bbq, so much yummy food! The hotel is situated perfectly for safari as it is right next to the entrance to the national park so only 2 minutes in the tuktuk to get to the entrance. They packed us breakfast, lunch and snacks. Priyashantha joined us for the day and was fantastic at taking us to the best places to spot the wildlife. He brought along binoculars and books to show us the birds and animals we had seen. The jeep itself has a roof to keep cool in the heat of the day on the full day safari. I would highly recommend the friendly and caring staff, the beautiful peaceful surroundings and the very comfortable rooms.
