The breakfast is a help yourself breakfast to bread, cereal and jams. The room was very clean and comfortable as well as the bathroom. Loved the location, overall a very pleasant stay :)

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and organising tours for guests. The staff were superb. Sya the receptionist in particular is very hospitable and helpful: no task or question will make her flinch or nervous. She is incredibly helpful and a net positive to the hostel with her work attitude. The housekeeping cleaners are very diligent with their work and never slacked off. Smoking corner has good ventilation and there is plenty of seating and power outlets. Also a tv with cable and spare computer, card games and board games. Laundry is affordable at 12 MYR for dry and wash and the staff will help you with it. There are ample toilets and shower and the place is very clean. Lots of hooks to hang your clothes. You can leave your bags and relax in the common area after checking out. The private room was extremely comfortable and spacious and the AC was strong. Tours are on offer and you pay in cash. Staff know exactly what they are doing and they are honest - I forgot to take out my money from my shorts pocket and the staff returned it to me promptly when doing my laundry. Very easy to make new friends here and it is a social place. Will come back!!!!!

So ok there is just electricity between 5 pm and 9 pm , but it is written in the description ! So why complain after?! We loved it there! Great atmosphere ! Not for people looking for a five star resort! But for simple people who want to enjoy nature.

We stayed in the Double Room, which was very comfortable and equipped with a fan—perfect for keeping cool at night. All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. Oh, I was almost forgetting, both land and transport are organized by the Fred and Sook Peng and everything went super smooth! Terima kasih Fred and Sook Peng!
