Tucked away amidst a lush garden, jungle views and a river bend, this guesthouse is a serene getaway and a perfect home base for exploring Taman Negara. In addition to the idyllic setting, the stay includes a copious and delicious dinner and breakfast (including vegetarian options). Both meals are served in the outdoor common area by the river. 6 of the rooms have incredible garden views. The other 3 don’t have as nice a view. Although you are 7 or so min from town, this is a great place to stay (specially if you have a car). If not, transport is also available.

Located in Taman Negara – Pahang’s rainforest sanctuary, Mutiara Taman Negara features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, offering Tembeling River or jungle views. Just delightful chalets serving gardens but with the rainforest all around. You get there with a ferry after parking on the other side of the river. Good food and nice restaurant to relax in at anytime of the day. Lots of jungle activities can be planned with ease at reception. We did 4 activities in our 2 night stay.
