Το La Sirenita - Ometepe βρίσκεται σε Altagracia, σε απόσταση 6,2 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Ηφαίστειο Maderas και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, βεράντα και μπαρ. Thé location was amazing, the water was calm, no wind like the other side of the island. The farm animals were a great perk . The owner and staff were so welcoming. The sunset with volcano views, near the entrance to the river for kayaking. Beside a happening bar. Mango beach is great too. The toilets and showers were very clean. A magical paradise. The hut was perfectly cute right on the water front.

Couldn’t find a more tranquil place than here. Daniella and Tony are awesome hosts! Only a short walk to town, yet far enough away to emerce yourself in nature.

The cabins are carefully built, very clean, and very comfortable! They are equipped with the necessities so we could cook and make coffee. It is right on the water and we went out on the dock both nights for sunset. The cabins are perfectly tucked away so it is very peaceful.

The location is fantastic, right on the shore of the lake and at the same time just a minute walk from the main road and restaurants in Balgue. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable too. There is a functional kitchen, two hammocks, chairs for the shore, candles for the night, and kitchenware too. Really has everything you need.

Το Hospedaje Bananas είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στον κήπο που βρίσκεται σε Altagracia. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο, κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα, μπαρ, κήπο και βεράντα. Bananas was great, I highly recommend it, would stay there again.

We loved the relaxed vibe and how everything is set up and decorated, it's really really beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting around on our porch immensely! the location is great as it's away from the crazy hostel stuff but not too far with tons of great local places near by. Getting to all parts of the island from Balgue was ideal as well and everywhere you turn you see one of the volcanoes since you're right in between them. If you turn right from the place you get back into the main hostel area in a few minutes (on bike) and if you turn left you find really beautiful roadways and scenery and you can get away from all the "traveler" stuff. Cafe compestre is just down the street (2 min walking) where you can get a really really good cappuccino. My boyfriend also got a haircut across the street haha. The food they made us was so so so good (our favorite if we HAD to pick was probably the burritos, and they make some of the best smoothies on the island). we were also able to get our moto bike and kayaking through the family as well, and everything was a really good price and easy. On day 4 or so we found a hole in the tire which they fixed in just a couple hours and they didn't charge us which we really appreciated. There was a power outage one evening (it happens on the island from time to time) and they set us up with a candlelit dinner and we just loved that (picture below). The family who owns this are truly wonderful people and we felt really at home, possibly too at home as we were supposed to stay 5 nights and we stayed 9 or 10 😂. I usually got up early and worked a few hours in the balcony seating area with a coffee or smoothie, so can confirm working here is also no problem. For context, I was working fully online building a webpage with large files so internet needed to be really functioning well, and it was :)

The staff were incredible & willing to go above & beyond to assist us. Carlos in particular was super friendly, helpful & was very transparent in his communication. The staff helped with our transfers to/from the ferry port as well as organising motorcycle hire. The rooms were very comfortable with air-conditioning, ample space as well as a clean & cosy bed.

Το Hotel Restaurante Los Cocos είναι σε Santa Cruz, σε απόσταση 800μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Playa de Santo Domingo και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης,... Los Cocos provides fairly basic accommodations but what sets them apart is the quality of the staff. Marlon, his family and his staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating every step of the way. The food is typical Nicaraguan fare cooked beautifully with generous portions. We were always met with smiles. As we are practiced our Spanish, the Los Cocos team were patient and worked with us to ensure that expectations were well communicated. They spent time with us and got to know our children. The space is incredibly safe and the location is excellent, being directly across from playa Santa Cruz and the Saturday market. If you need a taxi, Marlon is more than willing to drive you wherever you need to go in a comfortable pick up truck. He can help you arrange horse tours, vehicle rental, kayak tour, hiking tour and whatever else you can imagine on the island. We have returned to Los Cocos twice, and we couldn't imagine staying at any other hotel on Isla de Ometepe!

I loved the location on the water, it is far from the ferry and down a bit of a bumpy road, but we had our own transport so was fine. Nice to be away from the crowds in a very peaceful place. The bungalow is simple, clean & comfortable with good a/c & wifi. A really good breakfast of your choice is included & the beer is ice cold! One of the owners, Fernando is super friendly, funny & chill. The kayak rental was great.
