The accommodation offers a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. It was absolutelly fantastic time in Smorfjord. With aurora and amazing nature experience. House has great atmosphere and Edmund is awesome host.

Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The hotel has family rooms. This is without doubt the best hotel of my several weeks long trip to Norway and back again. I discovered it accidentally and at first just came to see the lighthouse and have a dinner. But spending some time there made me think that I actually want to return for a night at this place. And oh boy, it exceeded all my expectations! It was two orders of magnitude better than hotels twice the price. I'm not sure if I've ever met so friendly and helpful staff who really made the whole difference - it felt more like staying at a friend's place rather than at a hotel. The food was great, the bed - one of the best I've ever slept on. And it's a pity I had time only for one night, I already miss this place and want to come back. Oh, and of course - the location and the opportunity to climb up an operating lighthouse! Also, please, pretty please, make it possible to come there for the nothern lights!

Although it's hard to contact the owner, but I got answers to my questions. There was no access to the lake from the sauna - but I'm not just writing this in the pros, as the owner assured me that he would do it soon! I'll check it next year and unsubscribe :)

Very clean and comfortable. Trond was friendly, welcoming, helpful with recommendations, a wealth of information. He cooked us a delicious dinner. Breakfast was great. Highly recommend.

Featuring sea views, Solvang camping og leirsted provides accommodation with an open-air bath, a garden and a terrace, around 14 km from The Rock art of Alta. Very spacious cottage when you step inside with renovated bathroom and kitchen. Everything was clean and well equipped. The folding table and sofa bed were great to create as much functionality as you needed if traveling with more than two people. The bunkbeds were very comfortable, although note top bunk would be suitable for a shorter person which worked out perfectly for us. This facility was nicely situated by a beach which was lovely as it was quiet throughout the entire area with respectful neighbors. Overall great facility, well maintained, clean, and very friendly young gentleman at the front desk who was helpful.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Kongsfjord, Kongsfjord Arctic Lodge is a guest house surrounded by views of the sea. The property features a private beach area, spa and wellness centre and private parking among other facilities. Situated on the beachfront, this property features a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. The guest house has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. The location was great with incredible views over the bay. We stayed here specifically for bird watching during the second half of May. The peninsula is said to have a good chance to see the Gyrfalcon, we didn't see it but the walks are great on its own and the nature is simply stunning.
