Salem is not just a great host — he is a genuinely kind, generous, and thoughtful person who goes out of his way to make every guest feel comfortable and appreciated. What made my stay even more special was the way he surprised me for my birthday. He arranged a small celebration in his beautiful traditional tent, surrounded by other guests, creating such a heartfelt and touching moment that I will never forget. The staff at the guest house were also exceptional, always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every need. The environment is peaceful, beautifully set. One of the highlights of my stay was the boat trip organized by Salem, where we had the chance to see dolphins in their natural habitat. It was magical and truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment. If you’re considering booking a stay at Salem’s, don’t hesitate for a second. Whether you’re looking for adventure, connection, or peaceful beauty, you’ll find it all here. I’m so grateful for the memories made and the people I met. I’ll definitely be back!

Staff was really friendly and professional. Ikhtikar and his colleague made the stay very pleasant. The stay is next to the WW2 era runway and right next to the beach and near the lighthouse.

Το The Gate είναι σε Sur. Έχει κήπο, ιδιωτική πισίνα και προσφέρει θέα στη θάλασσα. Location is good. Very near to beach. The facility is very good. Especially the swimming pool is fantastic. Design of the house is quite nice.

So we were unsure whether to book this or not because of the reviews here, but took the risk! The property was absolute AMAZING, the location was perfect, but the staff were unbelievable! I mentioned it’s one of our friends birthdays and he went out to FILL the villa with balloons, decorations, birthday cake, candy, and lots of other fun things for when we arrived! We all arrived at awkward timings but he made sure to meet us super early to check in. He arranged a chef to cook us a bbq, constantly made sure we were well looked after, the villa is amazing, clean, comfortable, awesome cinema room, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing, and there’s a steam room! Huge villa but still very homely feeling, 100% recommend and we will definitely be back soon! Again thank you so much to the staff for making sure we were well looked after and going above and beyond at every stage! You were awesome !

The Best Western Sur is located in the picturesque city of Sur, famous as an old fishing village and traditional manufacturer of dhows. The hotel is very nice, well-maintaned and rooms spacious and comfy. The breakfast was unbeliavable with everything possible to choose from. Really nice staff and plenty of parking spots right in front of the hotel

Sea Turtles Guest House is a fabulous place. The host, Mr Abdullah, is very welcoming and friendly. He was constantly providing us with snacks and one night even provided a full meal for all the guests. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Wifi is good. Pool and garden area is really nice. Breakfast is amazing. Area is very quiet. Didn't want to leave!! The only negative is the amount of plastic rubbish lying around between the Guest House and the beach. This is not the fault of the Guest House. But it is such a shame that such a beautiful location is spoiled in this way.
