Really nicely decorated house with a welcoming host, we had a lovely stay at Salem’s guest house. The dinner was excellent with fresh fish and the boat ride the next day was also great, we saw dolphins and went snorkelling. We’d stay there again.

We have never felt so comfortable in a foreign country as in this guesthouse. This is mainly due to the wonderful host Ektheir! A man with a heart to embrace the place and take care of the guests. It was very nice to talk about Oman, about cloves in tea 😁 Bangladesh and other things! The place has soul and atmosphere. Thank you for recommending a trip with a positively crazy man, so we saw dolphins, turtles and other sea creatures. The place itself is very nicely maintained, simple in equipment, but very clean, breakfasts are also as ok as possible, especially the author's tea and lime-mint drink.... We recommend wholeheartedly, Martyna and Łukasz ❤️

Το The Gate είναι σε Sur. Έχει κήπο, ιδιωτική πισίνα και προσφέρει θέα στη θάλασσα. Location is good. Very near to beach. The facility is very good. Especially the swimming pool is fantastic. Design of the house is quite nice.

So we were unsure whether to book this or not because of the reviews here, but took the risk! The property was absolute AMAZING, the location was perfect, but the staff were unbelievable! I mentioned it’s one of our friends birthdays and he went out to FILL the villa with balloons, decorations, birthday cake, candy, and lots of other fun things for when we arrived! We all arrived at awkward timings but he made sure to meet us super early to check in. He arranged a chef to cook us a bbq, constantly made sure we were well looked after, the villa is amazing, clean, comfortable, awesome cinema room, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing, and there’s a steam room! Huge villa but still very homely feeling, 100% recommend and we will definitely be back soon! Again thank you so much to the staff for making sure we were well looked after and going above and beyond at every stage! You were awesome !

The Best Western Sur is located in the picturesque city of Sur, famous as an old fishing village and traditional manufacturer of dhows. The room was spacious, the staff in the reception were polite and helpful and there were plenty of things to choose from for the breakfast.

The property is still new, very clean and in great condition. There is a swimming pool and a cozy shaded seating area available as well as the indoor reception area / majlis. The host, Mr. Abdullah, is very helpful and always available on site. He did everything to make the stay enjoyable. We were traveling over the Eid holidays and on this occasion were treated to a delicious home cooked dinner, provided by the owner Mr. Humaid.

I simply loved it and I highly recommend the guest house....its the perfect base if you want to stay in Sur.... And Aylan was so nice to us !!! Home away from home ;)

Το Tiwi Pearl, το οποίο βρίσκεται μπροστά στη θάλασσα σε Sur, προσφέρει εξωτερική πισίνα και βεράντα. The hotel is luxurious for the place it is situated. Its a modern house with pool, three floors of apartments, nicely decorated and furnished, clean and so on. But this on its own is normal so to say and doesn't mean a 10/10. What makes this a 10/10 is the lovely receptionist guy. First of all we had some issues during the day and were going to be late for check in, we arrived at 8:30pm. The guy stayed extra in order to let us check in. Then he offered us to go to the nearby restaurant and he would pick us up dinner if we were hungry (he offered it for breakfast too). He made sure we had everything we need - coffee, tea, water, medicine (as we were also sneezing a bit) so an amazing friendly guy. The next day we checked out and went to do Wadi Tiwi (which I recommend and was the reason we stayed in the area) and not only did he let us leave the car in the parking there, but also after we came back from the Wadi and had already checked out, he let us take a hot shower and change our clothes. If his boss reads this review, your receptionist guy is amazing !
