The staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and always ready to help. The jungle tours were well-organized, full of wildlife, and felt completely authentic. The lodge itself was clean, comfortable, and perfectly immersed in nature. Falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle was magical. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a real Amazon adventure. I would definitely stay here again!

Jacamar Lodge Expeditions ligt aan de oevers van de Amazone-rivier, midden in de jungle en op 120 km van het centrum van Iquitos. Excellent, rustic stay and our guides Christian and Segundo couldn't have been better! Very cool guys and they are legit one with nature they know EVERYTHING about the Amazon life. The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.

Libertad Jungle Lodge biedt accommodatie met een terras in Yucuruche. Je kunt bij de lodge in de buurt uitstekend vissen en kanoën, of gebruikmaken van de tuin. My guide Larry met me at the airport and we travelled to the lodge. Although it was 3 hours time went fast watching the landscape go by. It was dry season for my visit so unfortunately the river way very low and the lodge was not on the river as per photographed on booking. I do wish this was explained. Otherwise i had an amazing 5 days. The accommodation was clean, the food was ok. It was different everyday but simple. My guide Larry was exceptional. His knowledge of the jungle, outstanding, and his English was perfect. We made a plan on arriving for what it would like to do in my time. Highlight was the caiman night tour and lily pads.
