Amazing stay for our three days in Llachon, Lake Titicaca. The hosts were friendly and went over and above for our stay. They organised our tour to Uros, the floating islands and Taquile Island. They came with us to interpret as we only spoke english. The room was warm and very comfortable. The shower was warm and clean. We ate meals there at a very reasonable price. The food was very good. We met other guests from other countries and had an excellent time. We would highly recommend this property and thank the hosts for an excellent stay.

The place is soooo peaceful and quiet, the rooms are comfortable and the views are amazing. But definitely the best part are the hosts Henry and Mariluz! Such lovely and warm hearted people, we really felt like part of the family. And the food is AMAZING as well, Mariluz cooks everything fresh and most of the food is grown locally on the island. They even gave us hand made clothes to take some pictures in. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet place with amazing food and loving hosts, this is the place to be!

I am so happy booking suggested this accommodation because I had such a beautiful time there. the view and the room is just perfect, at night from the balcony you have incredible sky, the family was so lovely and welcoming, always kind, I had different delicious breakfast every morning and even pancakes which I really missed! I booked for two nights and ended up staying four and could’ve stayed longer. I am really grateful for my time there, don’t hesitate to book if you feel tempted to go there.

The property is very well kept and clean. It has amazing views of the Laguna and is sheltered from the wind. The rooms are cosy and there is plenty of space to relax. The meals are delicious and generous portions. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved staying here and would stay again in the future if we return.

Of our entire 3-week trip in Peru, the 2-day stay at this lodge was one of the highlights. Eduardo and Gloria are wonderful hosts. They provide you with enough privacy, but if you feel like talking and engaging in conversation, they are patient and accommodating. The food (3 meals a day) was absolutely delicious (Gloria is a skilled chef). The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy. Outside, there were loungers and a veranda bed for added relaxation. The lodge is situated far away from the other reed islands, making it pleasantly quiet with only the sounds of birds chirping and a gentle breeze. It's a place for absolute relaxation. Compared to other lodges, you have hot water for showers, which is important on the cold nights of Lake Titicaca. However, the lodge provides a heater and four blankets. They also offer hot water bottles, so we were never cold. There are various activities available, including kayaking, a small tour of the community, a ride on a reed boat, and much more. During these activities, Eduardo provides detailed insights into the history and UROS culture. We would 100% recommend this lodge, and if we didn't live so far away, we would come back. This was a perfect stay. Oliver, Sebastiana and their children are a lovely family who you instantly feel at home with. The room we had was spacious, private and had a beautiful view of the lake. Hot water and WiFi worked amazingly for the area and the food provided (for an extra cost, but really good value), was very tasty and varied. There are a few walks to do in the area to keep you busy, and Oliver can also take you out on his boat to some of the local islands and to see the trout farm he runs (again, for an extra fee but for what you get, we thought it was really good value for money. You have to remember you have the boat completely to yourselves and there were no other tourists on the floating island we visited, making the experience very authentic). There's a really nice outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and view. Getting there is also very easy with collectivos going regularly from Puno and Juliaca for next to nothing. My sister and i both had a huge double bed each and rhe blankets were SO COMFY. Manuel picked us up at the port for 30 soles. The food was aslo super tasty (we took trucha a la plancha and we were just amazed) Highly highly recommend a stay here!!
