400 metres from General Luna Beach, Araw Boutique is a recently renovated property located in General Luna and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The 4-star homestay features garden views and is 2.6 km from Malinao Beach. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Jan was very accommodating with my early check in time and let me leave my bags in the living room as I waited to check in. I originally booked for 4 nights but ended up staying an extra 5. Because the Homestay can only accommodate up to 6 people the place is a lot quieter then other places in siargao. For the price you pay and what you get the value is amazing. Place is cleaned daily and shower also has hot water. A/C in the rooms is also super comfortable. If you have a wise account he can help you withdraw money without the crazy high atm fees. The Homestay is close to everything and easy to walk to scooter rentals around his neighbourhood. He can help with booking transportation to and from the airport as well if needed. Had many amazing conversations with jan during my stay and would definitely recommend booking here if you’re looking for a comfortable bed to stay in during your time in siargao.

The place is a combination of a boutique hotel and an "airbnb". The room was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. The house is one of the most beautiful houses I've seen and is right on the beach. We saw the most amazing sunrises. Joseph, Elvira and Lala the hosts quickly became like family. They made sure our stay was smooth and helped so much with optimizing our planning. If you're checking this place - don't hesitate to book, no way you'll regret it.

There is a lovely communal kitchen which we used a few times, it has everything you might need. The hosts are very responsive and kind. They have a beautiful dog named Tiger who hung out with us a lot. We loved our stay here and wish we had stayed longer!

The manager, Mark, and his staff take Yapak from great to exceptional. So welcoming and happy to serve, we felt very well looked with genuine hospitality. The chef, Mommy, runs a superb restaurant with a varied menu and daily specials, and you can dine on the beach terrace, very tranquil. The location is fabulous with waves for surfers on the doorstep and comfort by the pool for non-surfers. We came to Yapak having spent a week closer to General Luna and Cloud9 that we found overwhelmingly busy and noisy. Yapak was the perfect contrast - an oasis to finally relax and rest.

We had a nice pool view. The staff was always helpful and kind when we needed tricycles or bikes. The food was very tasty and the coffee was delicious. It is a calm place which allows you to work on your computer or just to soak in Siargaos vibe. We love staying a little more out of the noisy parts so this place was perfect for us. You can still easily walk to different bars and restaurants or take a tricycle. We also had the chance to meet the owner who was very kind. The Ohm is a little pricey compared to other places in Siargao but you get what you paid for.
