Great location for trekking, bicycle rides, motorcycle rides and sightseeing. This is one of the villages along the path of via Transilvanica. We can't wait to return. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, table tennis, free private parking and free WiFi. The chalet has an outdoor fireplace and a sauna. Rented whole house so nothing was shared (i.e. we had sole use of all facilities). Great facilities, including wood-fired hot tub, table tennis, swings, wood-fired pizza oven, firepit. We didn't use the sauna and it was the wrong time of year for the swimming pool. Host was lovely and very helpful, he could not speak English but used a translator app on his phone.

Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a ski equipment rental service, a private beach area and ski-to-door access are also available on-site. We had a wonderful stay at Sovata Chalet Le Cristal. The house is very nice, with plenty of rooms, modern bathrooms, and large comfortable beds. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen had everything needed for a large family gathering — the dishwasher and washer were a big plus. The chalet is in a picturesque and private location, with a great sauna, hot tub in the garden, lots of private parking, and a spacious terrace with plenty of seating. The worker on-site was very helpful and made our stay even more comfortable.
