Bed is of a great quality. Breakfasts should be especially mentioned: a lot of fresh fruits, juices and great coffee ( we were even ask what strength of coffee we would like to have!). And then a choice of cold and freshly cooked stuff. The villa is in a quiet place but very conveniently situated between the jetty and one of the popular beaches, both are within few minutes walk.

The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, so we took full advantage of it. Everything was spotless and modern, making the entire experience very comfortable. Highly recommended!

The apartments are very clean and well maintained. Nahid and Sita did a very good job in keeping our apartment clean and the garden tidy. We had a well equipment kitchen we all the tools we needed to cook and eat. Supermarkets for food are all very close reachable by bicycle. The apartment has an ideal location. It is 50m from a sandy beach and 450m from the jetty away. Arthur organized a pick-up from the jetty on arrival which was very helpful. For La Digue the best transport are bicycles. You can rent them on nearly every corner for approx. 150 Rupees/day. If you rent them for a longer period, you might can bargain a discount. We are currently on Mahe Island and we are still talking about our amazing stay in La Digue (because the bar was raised so extremely high by Maison Ed Elle)! Elluna is incredibly friendly and lovely host. We had two second floor apartments which were very clean and as I am very “smell-sensitive” I want to point out that the apartments smelled like fresh lemongrass or something wonderfully fresh and exotic, unlike many other self catering apartments or even luxury resorts I’ve stayed in before. Rental bikes were organised to us as we arrived and when we got a flat tyre far away from home, a new bike was a call and 15 minutes away! I can’t recommend this place enough! We are extremely satisfied and looking forward to coming back to La Digue to stay at Maison Ed-Elle again. Thank you once more!
