The Standard, Hua Hin ligt in Hua Hin, op 5 minuten lopen van Hua Hin Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een fitnesscentrum en een tuin. Wij zijn met de motor vanuit Bangkok naar Hua hin gereden. Vervolgens hebben wij de motor gebruikt om in de buurt te toeren. Taxi is ook prima te doen. Ontbijt is perfect, super vers, heel uitgebreid en smaakvol. Voor de verschillende sappen heerlijk. Daarnaast worden er ook warme gerechten geserveerd in de ochtend. Het strand zit aan het hotel je loopt letterlijk het water in. Heb je geen zin in de zee hebben ze een groot zwembad. Ze hebben ook veel activiteiten. In de ochtend deed mijn vrouw mee met yoga. Plus ze hebben een kleine gym (2 loopbanden, gewichten een apparaat voor kabeltraining, spinning en een roeiapparaat). Zeker als je Hua bezoekt raad ik the standard aan!!!

The value for money at Captain Joe's is outstanding. Delicious and healthy breakfast provided each morning. Beautiful owners who make you feel welcome. Everything is immaculately clean and well looked after. The hostel itself is located a 10 minute walk from the main Hua Hin beach, right next to the main shops and restaurants, but in a quiet part of town. The owners helped book a car back to Bangkok for my wife and I and provided recommendations on where to go around Hua Hin. The wildlife photography on the wall is also really beautiful and the bed is incredibly comfortable. We also did not have any noise wake us up during the night and could not hear other guests.
