The view is great and I enjoyed the bathtub and pool. The amenities are all provided, staff is friendly and it is one of my best stays. They have happy hour cocktail discounts and the food at the sky bar is delicious, and they provide all facilities like beach towels and umbrellas. They also offer yoga classes. There is also a shuttle bus to town and back at certain hours. It’s a very relaxing stay and you can just be in the hotel the entire time without going anywhere else.

At Poonsiri Resort Aonang-SHA Extra Plus, staff at the 24-hour front desk can help arrange tours, shuttles and laundry services. The property offers free parking and a free round-trip shuttle between the property and Ao Nang Beach. One of the best stays of our Thailand trip! The atmosphere was top notch, facilities are well maintained. The staff is very friendly and supportive as well. The breakfast had good quality local food and selection was changing from day to day. The only thing that was unusual - we had dinner in the hotels restaurant and the food quality was much lower compared to the breakfast dishes, but its only a minor downside - there are plenty of places to go for dinner. I would stay here again for sure. Additionally notable: Great laundry service - neatly packed and folded - and good price which seemed to be calculated on the precise weight. And the on-site bar had decent drinks for a reasonable price.

This resort also has an on-site tour desk. Excellent location near many good shops, restaurants, etc. A scooter is not needed but helps. Nearest 7-11 is a 10 min walk. Loved the water stations, the pool, massage services and food. Nothing bad to say. Suitable for families, couples, single travelers.
