We’ve been to the North and South of Pemba and Emerald Bay was our favourite place. The daily boat tours and excursions in this stunning place were fantastic. Luca showed us his favourite hidden beaches and sandbanks, and how to move through the bay according to the tides. These have been the warmest, clearest, and most spectacular beaches we've ever been in. The hotel meals are amazing, including lots of fresh local fruits and italian-swahili inspired dishes at dinner. The owner Luca will take excellent care of you and the staff is also very kind and attentive.

Το Lala lodge Pemba Zanzibar προσφέρει καταλύματα 1 αστέρος μπροστά στη θάλασσα σε Mgini. Προσφέρει κήπο και ιδιωτική παραλία. A wonderful budget property. The location is peaceful. The owner is present daily and happy to assist with coordinating excursions, answering questions & just generally engaging with the guests. The prices for the excursions were very fair and it was great to be able to split them with other guests. Every meal was excellent. Breakfast was included & the $10US charge for the communal dinner was a fantastic bargain… the property is just steps away from where the fisherman come in each day so it couldn’t get any fresher

A lovely spot to watch the sunset with a happy hour cocktail in hand. The food was also excellent, with delicious fresh fish dishes. We also dived with Pemba dive centre who are on site and can very highly recommend them.

Amazing location, felt like we were the only tourists on this beautiful island filled with spectacular nature. It was really good to see tides in action in this remote location, away from tourist-filled main island of Zanzibar.
