I booked this property on a whim without much research and so was incredibly surprised at how nice it was! The host (Janie) was incredibly communicative and gave clear check in instructions. Parking in front of their house was very easy. The property is incredibly clean and well equipped - they provided bottles of water, dressing robes etc. which was a lovely touch. The bed was very cosy and I slept like a log for those three days! Yoghurt, granola and fruit is provided for breakfast which was perfect, as well as access to their lovely back patio. Janie herself is also a delight - I was lucky to have a long chat with her and learn a little bit about her life and the area! Would definitely recommend if you want a quiet, safe and peaceful stay (important as a female solo traveller), close to but outside the hustle and bustle of San Diego.

Monse and her team has been very accomodating. I love the historical feeling of the house. The condition of the house js so well maintained, it feels very comfortable and home like. Breakfast and happy hour have been pleasant. It feels like coming home after an afternoon at beach. I love there's a fireplace in the second room, it feels very nice. The house is close to Coronado beach, restaurants and cafes.
