The rooms were comfortable, and the setting by the river offered a stunning view—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The food was also excellent. I especially loved that we could order breakfast the evening before for a specific time the next morning. The highlight of our stay was definitely the incredible staff, especially the owner, who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. When my friend fell ill, the owner personally took me on her scooter to the local pharmacy and even helped translate so I could get the right medication. On another occasion, while we were out hiking, she went to a currency exchange on our behalf to change money for us. These thoughtful gestures and her genuine concern truly made us feel at home. I wholeheartedly recommend Funny Monkeys Homestay to anyone visiting Phong Nha. If you want a serene location by the river, great food, and the friendliest, most accommodating hosts, look no further!

Located just 10 minutes away from Dong Hoi station, the hotel is just stunning to look at with spacious and extremely clean rooms and professional staffs. The hotel also offers a gorgeous view of Nhat Le river bay. This was our honeymoon and the staff was kind enough to greet us with a sweet personalized note and a cake. The breakfast menu is really delicious. Any day trips to Phong Nha Ke Bang will definitely pick up from this hotel. We had a beautiful stay at this property and cannot recommend this more! Cheers!

They also provided me a ride to the train station during the rain storm when I forgot something there. Overall great return for the money, you wont get disappointed!
