Lola is the best host. The rooms are great and well equipped. A lovely quite small guesthouse, the perfect base in Valbone. The breakfast is abundant and delicious, the dinner even more so. I am vegan and was treated to some amazing traditional food, including vegan byreke, stuffed peppers, salads and so much more. Much of the food is grown by Lola’s family or made locally. Lola even packed us breakfast and provided coffee on the days we went hiking very early. 100% recommend. She was the most welcoming person ever, and she gave us a lot of information about the treks. This was our favourite accommodation in our entire Albania trip.

Elsa and her father could not have been more helpful. She speaks excellent English and was so friendly, she helps to create a great atmosphere at the guest house. We were provided with substantial breakfasts and dinner. Perfectly placed for the start of the path to Theth so great for the beginning of the walk.

* Helpful owner, he packed breakfast and lunch for us (included in the price of the room) so that we could start hiking early and arranged dinner for us at a local family guesthouse the night we arrived. * location is beautiful: beautiful view of the valley and this side of the mountain is unspoiled compared to Theth. Hiking to Theth from here is around 10-12 km (~5km less than from Valbona) and takes about 4-5 hours.

Great location- set a bit back from the main road, so nice and quiet and no sound of traffic. Amazing views. Room was super clean and larger than anticipated. Hosts were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful - they assisted with booking transport to the Valbone Pass trailhead and with a packed lunch for the hike. Generous meal servings!

Quiet, clean room with private bathroom and balcony with amazing views. The hosts all very friendly and helpful with breakfast provided, after which they drove us to the start point of the hike to Theth. Dinner at a cost of €10/€15 euro for vegetarian or meat option with amazing home made bread, cheeses and fresh vegetables.

On our 16 day roadtrip in Albania this was the best stay. The small and cosy hotel, run by the friendly and helpful Mir, is a special hide away with the best views of the Valbona Valley. Quiet and clean, with a very comfortabel bed, hot shower and excellent breakfast. All of it made it hard for us to leave again after 4 days. Highly recommended!

Super friendly and helpful owner. Very delicious homemade breakfast. Clean room and bathroom. If you stay in upstairs room, you have private bathroom outside of the room (but there is only 1 room). Quiet area.
