Very nice apartment with everything you might need. Everything was clean and comfortable. There are only a few rooms, so the shared bathroom was not an issue. The hosts were very friendly, and we enjoyed a pleasant evening chat in their garden. Breakfast was delicious, including eggs, fruit, vegetables, ham, cheese, yogurt, and milk from a local farmer. Coffee, tea, and a fridge are available throughout the entire stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations

Breakfast was simple, but you can order anything you want so absulutely fine. Ybbs is really beautyfull and charming small Austrian town where the life is very pleasant and people are very nice. Staff at Mang ais super kind and you feel very wellcome there! Cusine is great there.

2km out of the town village, however, we liked that. Sure it's on a busy road but it quietened down for shut eye hours. The Bistro across the road to the left approx. 30 metres was okay. Secured WIFI, awesome bakery downstairs and go for a walk out onto the weir to watch the cruise boats be raised or lowered in the tidal locks. Stayed an extra night without any hassle.

The friendliness of our reception. The helpfulness of the owners, the rooms, the location, and the food. We also thought the Gasthof was good value for money.. If we did this trip again. The Gasthof Haselberger would be the first place we would book to stay.

Don't hesitate to stop at Naglhof, for one night or for more (if you want to visit the region). Pretty close to the main highway, the house on top of the hill has a great view on the Danube. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfy and the food (morning coffee included) is very good. You can have dinner only if you are a guest of the Hof. My family checked in after the closing time of the restaurant, but we still received a huge Schnitzel for hungry travellers :) . We were very grateful! The entire Hof is dog-friendly, you can even take your pet with you to the restaurant and go for long walks in the area. Wi-Fi is also good, TV in room, enough storage space and the windows have moquito nets !

The pension is housed in a beautiful old historical building while the rooms are modern and very tastefully furnished. The breakfast area is particularly lovely and the hosts were very friendly and generous. The breakfast offering was very good with many choices available including very good cappuccino. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting Melk.
