Bethany Cottage sits in a perfect location in the wine growing region of Tanunda. The historic cottage has been restored beautifully in keeping with its history. Everything was catered for and more. It was comfortable. Air conditioning and fans kept the sleeping temperatures to reasonable levels even in 40C heat. i would thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay. Carol welcomed us, was very friendly and it was clear nothing was too much trouble.

Our lovely host Evelyn made us feel so welcome and had a lovely loaf of home made bread wrapped up in a tea towel for us to have for breakfast. It was so nice there wasn't much left for breakfast! It is in a beautiful location where you can hear the wind rushing through the trees and the birds signing, utter peace and quiet. It was a lovely place to stay and everything is catered for, we will be back.

The property was beautiful - beautiful landscape about 20minutes from the main wineries in Barossa. The green room was just perfect. So spacious, well decorated, warm, with a well equiped kitchen and a fabulous bathtub. Evelyn was a great host, she baked us fresh bread, and left an assortment of beautiful home made jams and granola. She’s so friendly and you can see that she takes great care of all the details. A bonus was being able to see the sunrise right from the very comfortable bed and to gaze at the vast number of stars at night. We absolutely loved it here, and would 100% recommend it for any one looking for a relaxing escape in the Barossa.
